University Ambassador

Florida State University
Jan 2018 - Present

Otherwise known as a tour guide, this position is one that I find to be one of the most important on campus. It is quite literally a sales position, where I am selling FSU as a university to students and their parents. Often times, the monumental decision of where to invest thousands of dollars and four of the most important years of one's life rests on the tour that a University Ambassador gives. I am pleased to have the opportunity to take this job.

Research Intern

Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce
Summers 2016, 2017

As a research intern, I helped the Advocacy Committee conduct a State-Of-The-Key report. Key business leaders in the Chamber of Commerce expressed demand for a report of the community. This report would analyze aspects of the community such as demographics, traffic, industries, and education.
My job was to both collect and organize relevant data that was then used in the report. I worked directly with real estate offices in the community and contacted local and state park offices, among many other interactions with the local industries. I then used my expertise in Excel to organize the data.

Martial Arts Instructor

Robert Duzoglou Academy of Martial Arts
Jan 2012 - Aug 2016

From June 2012 to August 2016, I had the privilege and honor of working alongside a world-class team of Martial Artists to bring the wonderful benefits and lifelong practice of Martial Arts to children and adults of my hometown community, Key Biscayne. Robert Duzoglou Academy of Martial Arts is a place where the youth of the community can develop themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. I have worked with more or less the same group of kids for four years, and watching them learn and grow has been amazing. It has given me insight into how much a teacher can learn from a student, not just a student from a teacher.
